senior seminar

In the summer of 2018, I took my Senior Seminar class. The class was writing intensive and the subject was the Civil Rights Movement. The goal was to learn how to conduct research on a very specific topic and gather information in order to write a paper and create a presentation.

museology

In Spring of 2018, I took a course about museums and museology. During the class, we took trips to different facilities and witnessed behind the scenes action for the management of museums. I wrote and presented on how children interact with museums and how important they are for educational purposes, along with studying one museum in particular, The Hermitage in Norfolk, VA.
