about me

Growing up, I moved around a lot. Being a military kid afforded me many opportunities to explore new places, experience new situations, and meet new people. My favorite place that I ever lived was Okinawa, Japan. I believe that living overseas created my love for the differences that every person has.

Teaching became my interest and passion during my last year of high school, as I was inspired by a teacher of mine at the time. I am motivated and driven to learn as much as I can so that I can make a positive impact as an educator.

It was only this past year that I decided to double major and focus on how to turn my creativity and desire to help others into a career. Naturally, I chose Art Education with the hopes to help kids develop their creativity and find their passion, whatever that may be.
