SMAC
This unit focuses on exploring emotions on a deeper level using a specific art medium: fibers.

This was created for a Saturday Morning Art Class (SMAC) program hosted by the Chrysler Museum of Art in the Fall 2020 semester.
teacher samples
We each prepared some sort of teacher sample, but found ourselves just restarting our samples so that we could work alongside the students. This worked best for our group.

I created a video demoing how to do the Rya weaving technique.

Our students were really engaged and excited for each project we introduced them to. Some students worked faster than others. Everyone learned new things.
