This fibers project was the final project out of 2 total that I created during the six-week course. 

 

I wanted to create a very loose weft to resemble a fisherman’s net. The entire piece is supposed to give a sense of peace and tranquility, like being in water or seeing a body of water. 

 

I used multiple weaving techniques to achieve the end result and added found objects like beads, sticks, and shells to give more dimension to the piece.
